This privacy policy applies to the personal OAuth application ("the application") used with the open-source program rclone to synchronise files with Google Drive.

Information accessed

When you authorise the application, it receives an OAuth token that allows it to read, create, modify and delete files in your Google Drive on your behalf. The application accesses only the files needed to perform the sync or backup operations you run yourself.

How information is used and stored

• File contents and metadata are transferred directly between your computer and Google's servers. They are never sent to, or stored on, any server operated by the developer.
• The OAuth token is stored locally in the rclone configuration file on your own computer.
• No personal information is collected, logged, analysed, sold, or shared with third parties.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The application's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access

You can revoke the application's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page and by deleting the token from your local rclone configuration.
